HIGHER NATIONAL CERTIFICATE AND DIPLOMA IN COMPUTING AND SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT
Program Overview

BTEC Higher National Certificates (HNC/D) qualifications will give students the management and high level technical skills that will be needed for excelling in the career. BTEC Programs are recognised by universities and professional bodies worldwide.

BTEC Higher Nationals in Computing and Systems Development have been developed to focus on providing education and training for a range of careers in computing and systems development. Units offered include business skills for e-commerce, computer systems, emerging technologies, systems analysis and design, website design and IT management.
Entry Requirements The students who have passed 12th Standard, A levels, any accredited High School program are eligible to apply for BTEC Program. Students aged 18 years or more but have no formal qualification can also join through Foundation Route.

Assessment Structure The assessment is based on assignments, subject to internal verification by the centre and external verification by the Edexcel Pearson Officials. Presentations, Research Work, Projects are also considered for Assessment.

Program Duration 24 months
Progression for Further Study The candidate can top up HND in one year with a full honours degree in a related computing subject from University of Wolverhampton [www.wlv.ac.uk].
Accreditation The HNC/D is a programme that is internationally recognised as being at the forefront of management education. The program is fully accredited by Higher Education Authorities in UK and UAE. The Wolverhampton University is in the recommended list of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research [UAE].
